FRIENDS OF MARTY GOLDEN ANNOUNCES FUNDRAISING TOTALS
Campaign raised $270,000, with 256 individual contributors and over 50% giving $100 or less
Brooklyn, NY – The campaign to re-elect State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I) today announced it’s fundraising totals for the July filing.
The campaign raised a total of roughly $270,000, with 256 individual contributors, 134 of them giving $100 or less.
These totals put Senator Golden’s campaign war chest at over $450,000. This amount of money, coupled with grass roots support proven by the significant number of small dollar donors, is another indication that this year will be a successful election for Senator Golden.
“Senator Golden has given a lifetime of service to our community, through serving as a member of the NYPD, to leading the charge of small businesses, to serving in both the New York City Council and New York State Senate,” stated Jeffrey Kraus, Campaign Manager. “We are honored by the outpouring of support from seniors, moms, dads, and middle class families that have taken whatever they could and donated to our campaign. The Senator appreciates that support.”
