NEW ERA DEMOCRATS ENDORSE STATE SENATOR GOLDEN
Independent Political Organization Backs Republican Candidate’s Ideals
Brooklyn, NY – The New Era Democrats (NED) have officially endorsed State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I) in his quest for another term as State Senator. The endorsement signifies the NED’s belief that the Golden has the qualities as a leader to truly make a difference.
Founded in 1982 by Mary Sansone and currently led by President John Orlando, the New Era Democrats look for strong leadership qualities in candidates and have endorsed Senator Golden every time he has run for office and reelection.
NED is dedicated to transparency in elected officials. “This organization supports Marty Golden because we believe he is a candidate who is honest, truthful, and who will take responsibility for his actions. He places the interests of his community above his own personal gain,” says Sansone.
President Orlando stresses how Golden embodies the goals of the New Era Democrats. “Marty Golden is the candidate NED has been looking for. We want to attract people who can work across party lines and Golden has done just that; we endorse the individual, not the political party” says Orlando.
Marty Golden will work with the New Era Democrats to promote their organization’s goals of “educating the electorate” and encouraging “independent, constructive thinking”. When speaking of the endorsement from the NED, Golden had to say, “I want to thank both Mary Sansone and John Orlando for being allies in helping to create a better community. Their support is greatly appreciated”.
